Gabriella Ybarra is a summer 2021 intern on the public safety beat at the San Antonio Express-News. She recently graduated from Texas State University with her journalism degree and served as the managing editor for the school’s student newspaper, The University Star. She is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas and enjoys bike riding, yoga and relaxing with her cat.
