Hundreds of people are expected at a series of events that will celebrate  Homecoming Weekend at UIW

UIW will celebrate Homecoming Weekend with various events over two days at the Broadway Campus culminating in the homecoming football game. Hundreds are expected to attend.
Friday, October 29:      
TRUNK OR TREAT: Dozens of young trick or treaters are expected to attend an evening of food and fun where various student organizations and volunteers will set up their vehicles and pass out treats. This event will take place in front of the UIW Administration Building beginning at 6 pm.

NEST FEST: Join us as we welcome current and former Cardinals back to the nest. There will be food trucks, live music, and fun plus a visit from UIW Head Football Coach Eric Morris and the Cardinal football team. Nest Fest will also take place in front of the UIW Administration Building beginning at 6 pm.
Saturday, October 30:
BLESSING OF THE ATHLETES: In keeping with our Catholic tradition, UIW will celebrate the student-athletes who share their talents with the University with a special blessing led by the Sisters of Charity of Incarnate Word, the founding congregation of UIW. The blessing will take place prior to the football game on the field at Benson Stadium at approximately 2:30 pm.

HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME: Join us as UIW takes on Houston Baptist University at Benson Stadium at 3:00 pm. Tailgating will begin at 10:00 am.
