The Spurs made it official on Wednesday, trading forward Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for All-Star DeMar DeRozan.

After weeks of speculation, the deal came as a surprise to many around the NBA, as few considered the Raptors as a legit suitor for Leonard.

The Spurs also sent guard Danny Green to the Raptors in the deal and landed big man Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.
